Buyer's Broker was formed by John Rygiol, a Realtor with over 30 years of experience in all facets of Real Estate.
Traditionally, sellers always had all the representation in real estate transactions and buyers were left out in the cold. Worst case scenario being "Dual Agency", where the real estate office represents both the buyer and the seller.
I never felt that "Dual Agency" was right, and for many years, I practiced True Single Agency, where the broker represents only one party in a Real Estate transaction, much the way an attorney would never represent two opposing parties.
I found that I preferred working with buyers. In 1986, I changed my entire practice to representing buyers only and have been in the forefront of the Exclusive Buyer Agency movement ever since.
